for those interested in the fire, on the web site www.livestormchasing.com/map there is a storm chaser named Kory Poggenpohl who has been streaming live off and on, this morning he is on and in Louisville Co showing some pretty significant damage, looks like a business area.

Now, it’s well known that this is his last dance. When you think about it, you have to wonder how much the players want it with all the attention on Riley, Stoops, Castiglione and the new staff.

Why is this thread all people who think the players don’t want it and Caleb is leaving? The players don’t have to be there. If they’re not invested, they’re gone. Haselwood left the team last bowl season and wasn’t even draft eligible. This is about as much excitement and support as there’s ever been or probably will ever be for an OU team going to a sub-NY6 bowl game.

One can only hope this opens a few eyes out there as to the kind of sacrifices many of our guys make. The opt outs have shown us that this game doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Our whole roster easily could jettison out of Norman or stay home with their little Boomer Sooner flag to watch what happens. What we have left is a guy who should rightfully be watching his son from the stands who stepped in to work like a rented mule and a bunch of talented players trusting their future to uncertainty.
I would hope that the next time some of our shithead fans decide to boo the players that they’ll remember this last month from hell that one guy decided it best to put them all through.
Bob and the players you’ll see tonight have been the glue to hold it all together and sweep up Riley’s mess so that we can turn the page and look forward to a bright future here.
