I feel like they overplayed the democracy is gonna die and the world will fall apart angle. I've seen the same thing happen in the world I live in and we're still here. The world did not fall apart.
Ken doll is being a little too wishy washy for my taste. I don't see how Mattson is still in the catbird seat. It seems like those inflated numbers would do him in.

Kendall has always been wishy-washy. He's pathetic. Jeremy Strong was interviewed on CBS Sunday Morning, and he said he's so happy he's finally done having to live the character.

The actress, Justine Lupe, was really good in the Stephen King series Mr. Mercedes.

Eh, maybe. I mean you’re probably right on the political views, but I think for effect they just went full blown Alt-right with this character.
Also, I did read that Will Ferrell actually doesn’t have anything to do with the series other than his production company.
Before the series started, he and Adam McKay had a falling out after McKay chose his other good friend, John C. Reilly to play Dr. Jerry Buss on Winning Time, instead of Ferrell who evidently really wanted the role. So my thought on why Shiv switched at the last second. It had nothing to do with whether she thought Ken could run it or not. She knew she could control Tom and thus she would run the company from the shadows.
None of them were ever going to be able to run the company as successfully as Logan did.Comment

I agree with you guys. That and Kendall just couldn’t help but act like a douche right before the vote.
Both when he kicks his feet up on the desk while saying crude shit during their last meeting with Stewy, and how cocky he acts during the vote. You can see see her cringing.
Also I don’t think she wants to be a single mom. I think her conversation with Tom on the phone at the beginning of the episode was foreshadowing looking back on it.Comment

Also, Roman’s smile at the very end while he’s sitting at the bar tells me that he was just happy to be free from all of the BS and abuse. If you notice, he even hesitates to vote No.
It also makes me think that’s why he took that low blow at Kendall’s kids. I think he just wanted out. That’s why he was originally hiding out with his mom.Comment
