i have about 400 acres of soybeans to spray .....the pigweeds are thick after all that rain over the past 2 weeks...
and the wind is only supposed to be 13mph today.....so it won't blow my chemical into the neighbor's fields miles away....

How long does it take to spray 400 acres?

Got up at 4 am and perused the internet.

Took the dog for a walk at 6:15 am.

Did some pool maintenance at 6:45 am. Drank coffee with my wife under our backyard pavillion.

After that, pulled weeds out of my vegetable garden for about an hour.

Spent another hour or so working on my new garage door pergola, lining it all out and adding brackets to the supports.

Just finished lunch. Getting ready to head into Guthrie to buy some black paint for the pergola. The wife will do the painting. I will mow our backyard.

I'll be pretty much spent by then. Will take a shower and eat leftover Hideaway pizza for dinner, then watch a few episodes of Bosch: Legacy on FreeVee.

Will probably be asleep by 8 pm.

If you are yet to be SECtarded, you aren't trying hard enough. Slykology.

I’m smoking beef ribs and a pork butt. Lounging in the pool, drinking some beer. Stopped to grab lunch at Sooner Dairy Lunch as they are closing up at the end of the month.

Normally I go to the gym first thing in the morning, but I knew that would be too much for me today. I'm 62 for gawd's sake.

First time this year I've spent significant time in the water. Heat index of 104 helped. We've had a lot of rain and cool days up until this point.

Tomorrow I hope to get the pergola set up. I'll post pics. Then I'll grill steak.

I've been on all sides of that equation - as a kid, as a lifeguard, and as a parent. Never bothered me at the time, but my tolerance is much lower now that I have my own.

When my grandkids come to visit I cringe.

                                            I'm a curmudgeon.

Haha you've probably earned that right. I'm not in one place long enough to buy a house, so apartment pool is as good as it gets for now. The scenery is very good though, it's the main reason I picked these apartments.

We both can run a little hot, especially with each other. This is our first father/son at the club where it’s essentially an “open” type format. Hoping my 11 year old son doesn’t get spooked by the seriousness of it all. Fingers crossed.
