Clouds could limit things today. Need the sun to come out to increase instability.

Should clarify, the highest potential tornado threat would be orange area, but the overall tornado threat is really low. Lower Level winds are not good for tornadoes today. Large hail though, now we're talking.

For safety purposes he has a nice comfy warm spot under his pooch with the hooch.

Mete major daughter has been verbalizing compliance with the no chasing rule. However, now that storm season is fast approaching, she is getting the fever. I can't keep her from doing it, but I've told her to find someone who legitimately knows how to do it safely - she better not be out running around on her own.

So, phone goes off around 3am this morning with a weather alert.....an areal flood watch had been issues for my area covering the next couple of days. Really? They needed to send that out at 3am and wake everyone up for an event that hadn't even started yet? They must have the Hawaii missile alert guy pushing out notifications for the NWS now.

I won't get excited until I see MM's sparkly tie. Is this new storm sombrero an indicator of some sort of intermediately severe weather situation?
