When my unit was deployed for a few weeks to the UK, we were given the Don't be an Ugly American Talk. I don't remember most of the crap, because early on we were told to NOT call them English. Of course, this is because they may very well be Scots, Welsh, or Irish. We were to call them Brits. I the meantime, they would call all Americans "Yanks", so get used to it.
