surprised it took him this long. Guess he was going to have to take a huge hit to his NIL

I just hope he goes ahead and leaves. Watching the son of the guy who did more damage to the OU program than anyone in history play against us was pretty painful.
And the fact that Texas is trying to recruit over Casey so to speak is probably not setting all that well with Charles.

Kid really looked promising early on, but his season (and that of the Whorns) really fell apart.
If Card goes too, who's the backup for Ewers? Might be a bit thin there the first time a BV-led defense knocks his dick in the dirt.

I like where this thread is heading. Sorry Thompson family. I want to hear more about how we are going to rip that ridiculous mullet out of the new kids skull next fall. Go on...Last edited by Orangejello Jones; 12-17-2021, 07:42 PM.

Don't understand the hate for the kid. He's been nothing but respectful about his life here, his dad - no matter his issues - loved OU and had good moments here. LR wasn't really recruiting Casey. He signed with who was where he felt most comfortable. Good luck to the young man. Seems like a good kid.

Akin to loving America in the 1950s and defecting to the CCCP.

He can go back to being the evil, no good, corrupt Sooner that they spent 30 years saying he was. LOL.

I'm glad Casey Thompson is leaving because he was extremely talented. Coaching staff royally screwed him up just like every other aspect of the Texas program. Sarkisian is total trash and I hope he stays there forever.

You're welcome, just tryin' to help out. :)

Interesting, another Thompson whose D1 career ended prematurely wearing orange.
Joking aside, I don’t think he was their problem. They were an odd team just like OU was. They had talent to do A LOT more than 5-7 but they completely disappeared and/or collapsed in second halves of football games.
