NFC Wildcard - Niners +3 at America's Team - 1/16 - 3:30 pm CT - CBS
I don’t know if there are stats to back me up here, but end of game situation where everyone knows we can’t throw inside the numbers short of the endzone, I want three shots from the 41 over one from the 24 even if the timing does work out
the one play with 14 seconds left you just can't do is is run the ball into the middle of the field and that's exactly what "loser Dak" did. just too stupid to be a starting qb in the nfl.

Is it 25 years of futility now for dallass? Realistically, no one under the age of 35 really remembers dallass being a team to care about. Just a joke of an organization.

roethlisberger's rookie year?
j/k. Jason Gildon was on that steelers team. he and I were in school together. he's about to turn 50.
McCarthy is gone. I hope Jerry makes Lincoln an offer he can’t refuse. Would crack my ass up…
Lincoln's not big on challenges anymore. See OU to SEC.
He'd rather roll the dice and hope the PAC schools don't care enough about football outside of Eugene to put up a fight, which they probably don't.
No amount of $ could get Riley to not take the path of least resistance. Hence, "TbOW."
One dude that I cannot stand to listen to or even look at is the retard known as Steven Jones, the offspring of Jerry. The guy comes off as an arrogant hick dressed up as a businessman. Wears some kind of high dollar designer glasses by Gucci or whoever. Sounds like a rambling moron. Thinks he's the mastermind of the NFL draft and player acquisitions.
If he had half a brain he would have told Jerry to NEVER EVER EVER offer Dak a franchise tag and a mega contract. I saw this shit coming from a mile away.
Dallas found a playmaking defense, a high-powered offense, adequate special teams and a supposed championship-caliber coach. They still managed double-digit penalties, stupid play calling with the game on the line and looked like shit defending basic ass run plays and dump off passes in the flats all night long.
They out-choked a SF team that didn’t belong in the playoffs on their home field.
So, after nearly 30 years of swings and misses, what else can you say they need? The problem is still between their ears.
And yet, Jerry is still making a boatload of cash fielding a shite team. Football person my butt, more like a legend in his own mind.
I wonder how many people know the JJ story? He's' always been about making money - that was the genesis of the Cowboys. He makes a lot more when they are good and less when they aren't, so of course, he wants them to be good but not for the fans or players but for the money he makes from them.
I said years ago Dallas will never win another Superbowl as long as he is alive. Too much meddling from him and he doesn't have it in him to hire a real coach and a real coach wouldn't coach for him. Last true coach Dallas has had was Johnson and you all know how that ended. "Yes" men won't get it done.
He can't accept that he is just the money and has nothing to do with the success the team on the field.

See post #280.
I don't think the argument can be made that at least part of the loss was on the coaches. A QB run that allows the clock to expire? Really? They never had a chance with that call. And, the ref got the line very quickly to touch the ball for play. No argument that that was on the ref.

I don’t know. I didn’t consider Parcells a “yes man”…

There have been studies that show it takes, on average, 16 seconds to run a running play that doesn’t go out of bounds, snap to snap. Dallas had 14 seconds on the clock when Dak took that last snap. You’d think with all the analytics these guys tout, SOMEONE would’ve said “not a good play call here.”

The umpire even did the Cowboys a favor. The ball was spotted nowhere close to the proper spot. Dak started his slide at around the 26 to 27. The center put the ball on the 23 and the umpire backed them up to the 24.
I'd been fine if they just went ahead and moved on from him. Promote Quinn if they want, or go another direction. Either way, this crap is beyond old. And now they're going to have a hard time resigning guys like Gregory because of how much they're paying players like Zeke and Lawrence.
